It is with heavy hearts that Checkpoint Wristbands announces that we are shutting down online product sales effective February 4, 2016. One of our two founding partners was diagnosed with a serious illness in October 2014 and it has become too demanding to continue with this venture. Although online shopping will be shut down effective February 5, 2016, our bands will remain on sale at our retail partners until their supply runs out. Please note that Checkpoint Wristbands will continue to maintain the bands for two more years, through February 4, 2018. We ask that you continue to update your information with us. Many thanks to our loyal customers for their support and understanding.

Thank you,

Wil and Bill

What is Checkpoint Wristbands?

Checkpoint Wristbands offers versatile, instant identification wristbands and stickers. Each product has a text code and QR code. When a first responder texts the product’s unique code, the user’s medical information is instantly retrieved.

At the same time, the first responder’s cell phone number is sent to the user’s emergency contact for quick communication between the emergency contact and the first responder at the scene.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are our wristbands better than others on the market?
Other wristbands use static messages that are handwritten, messy or difficult to read. What if your crucial medical message changes? You’ll need to spend another $15 or more, to wear a second wristband, &then wait for it to arrive! Checkpoint Wristbands are better and truly unique! You can create your own message and then control it by editing in real time.
Is there a renewal or maintenance fee?
No, there is no additional fee of any kind.
How secure is my information?
Checkpoint Wristbands automatically encrypts your information in transit from your computers to servers using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128 bits (the same level of protection used by Banks online).
Who can view my messages?
The only people that can view your messages are you, and whomever texts or QR scans your activated wristbands.
How many times can I change the message on wristbands?
You can change the message as many times as you want.
